You can complete your XAT Application Form process by following these simple steps.

Step 1.    Visit XAT Official Website 
XAT Application Form filling process is completely online and takes about 30 minutes to complete. So, the first step to register for XAT is to visit XAT 2025 Official Website.

Step 2: Register for XAT to Get User ID & PW & Verify on Your Mail
Once you are on XAT website, register yourself with contact details like your name, email id, phone number. The next action points which you need to do are:

Step 2.1

• You will get a message from XLRI XAT on your mail id
• Open your mail box and verify the link
• Immediately after the verification you will get XAT Id and password

Step 2.2
Now, you have two options to fill XAT Application Form: Either login to XAT application page directly from the verification link on your mail; or login later with your XAT ID and password to fill your XAT application form

Step 3: Fill Personal Details in XAT Application Form 2025
Next you need to submit your personal details, your parents’ details and your address. Personal details required include your blood group, parent details, address among others. 

Step 4: Fill in Your Academics 
On this XAT registration page you are required to fill up academic details of you from class 10 onwards including professional qualifications. 

Step 5: Fill in your Work Experience and Selected Program Details
On this page you need to fill in following three items of information carefully:

• Your Work Experience beginning with latest work experience
• If you want to apply for XLRI Programme, fill in the choice of programmes, you wish to apply for.
• You can choose one or more programmes offered by XLRI. The additional application fee is Rs.200 for each XLRI programme.  
• You can choose 2 preferred test cities to appear in XAT 2025. 

Step 6: Upload Photo, Signature, Documents
Next, you need to upload your photo, signature and identity proof. The photo that you upload should be the latest one as it would be matched at the time of entrance exam.

Step 7: Submit Declaration
Next, you need to confirm that whatever you have stated in the application form is true and correct. So, it is better to preview the application form before confirming. 

Step 8: Pay XAT Fees 
This is the final step in your XAT Application Form filling. XAT 2025 Fees is Rs. 2200. If you apply for XLRI program, additional fee of Rs 200 per XLRI programme will be charged.

The payment can be made by using Debit Cards, Credit Cards. Once you ‘Make Payment’, you will get confirmation for successful submission. Take a print of your Application Form summary for future reference. 

Key required documents are:

4.1 Photograph & Signature Images, as per Specifications 

• Photograph must be a recent passport size colour picture.
• The picture should be in colour, against a light-coloured, preferably white, background.
• Look straight at the camera with a relaxed face.
• If the picture is taken on a sunny day, have the sun behind you, or place yourself in the shade, so that you are not squinting and there are no harsh shadows.
• If you have to use flash, ensure there's no "red-eye".
• If you wear glasses make sure that there are no reflections and your eyes can be clearly seen.
• Caps, hats and dark glasses are not acceptable. Religious headwear is allowed but it must not cover your face.
• Dimensions 200 x 230 pixels (preferred).
• Size of file should be between 20KB-50KB.
• Ensure that the size of the scanned image is not more than 50KB. 

4.2 Signature Image, as per Specifications 

• The applicant has to sign on white paper with Black Ink pen.
• The signature must be signed only by the applicant and not by any other person.
• The Signature will be used to put on the ADMIT CARD and wherever necessary.
• The Applicant’s signature obtained on the ADMIT CARD and attendance sheet at the time of the examination should match the uploaded signature. In case of mismatch, the candidate may be disqualified.
• Dimensions 140 x 60 pixels (preferred).
• Size of file should be between 10KB —20KB.
• Ensure that the size of the scanned image is not more than 20KB.

4.3 Your ID, Academic and Work Experience Documents 

XAT Application Form Fees for taking XAT 2025 exam is Rs. 2,200. To apply for XLRI, you have to apply for admission to XLRI programme by paying additional fee of Rs. 200 per XLRI program while completing the exam registration form. 

Please note that XAT application form and XAT registration form is same document. 

Please note the following to successfully complete your XAT registration 2025 form:

• Carefully enter all the personal details in XAT 2025 registration form, no correction is allowed later 
• Review all the details you have entered on each page
• Please upload correct size of scanned images of your photograph & signature
• Download the Certificates from the XAT website, enter the required information and self-attest, scan as PDF documents & upload the certificates on the XAT website
• If you are a Person with Disability (PwD), Select yes in the Registration form, else you may not be provided assistance at the test centre like wheel chair support and Scribe
• If you need to use a Scribe for the test, arrange the Scribe and fill the Scribe Affidavit form available on the XAT website.
• After you submit the Registration form and make payment, no Editing is allowed, so be careful
• XLRI may open 2-3 days Registration form Editing window after the last date is over. During the period you may re-upload your right size photograph, may edit a few details but no correction in Personal Details will be allowed
• Check that your registration & application form is successfully submitted and you have received the SMS from XAT Exam Centre after form submission

In case you have made a mistake in the registration form, you must register again with a new email ID. Your XAT 2025 application form will be considered for the latest registration and the Admit Card will be issued for the same. Please note that, you will not receive a refund for erroneous submission of application form nor will you get the Admit Card for your earlier registration.
